Home > Legal Issues > Legal Entities > S Corporations Overview An S Corporation is simply a regular corporation that has elected, for federal or state income tax purposes or for both, to be taxed somewhat like a partnership with its income, losses and tax credits flowing through to its owners, who report such income, losses or credits on their individual tax returns. As with a Corporation, there is a requirement to file Articles of Incorporation with the State Corporation Commission. |
