In addition to Equity Financing {through angels, venture capital, family and friends}, the other way to finance a business is through accumulation of debt. This comes in the form of a loan from a bank or other financial institution that is either guaranteed by the Small Business Administration (SBA) or conventional (the risk is assumed by the bank).
