The SBDC is either staffed or has satellite offices throughout the region. On the Southside it has staffed offices in Norfolk, Chesapeake and Suffolk and has satellite offices in Franklin, Smithfield, Portsmouth and Virginia Beach. On the Peninsula it has staffed offices in Hampton and Williamsburg. On the Eastern Shore it has a staffed office in Melfa and satellite offices in Cape Charles and Chincoteague. Offices at the Small Business Resource Center in Norfolk, at the Hampton University Business Incubator in Phoebus and in Virginia Beach at Tidewater Community College are staffed on a part-time basis while a circuit rider program services offices in Smithfield and Franklin at the respective Chambers of Commerce.
